What a great night at our first monthly Poetry Slam at Rush Library! We had a very popular winner in Eppy Mutetwa. Huge congratulations! She will be able to compete for the title of Fingal Slam Champion in the Fingal Poetry Festival’s Grand Poetry Slam in Skerries Mills on Friday 16th September.
A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone participating in our first ever monthly poetry slam. It was such a joy to hear so many different voices and wonderful poetry. For those standing up for the first time may it be the first of many. We were delighted to hear some of our host’s Sheila Ryder’s poems and immensely enjoyed our guest poet Nuala Leonard.

Our next Poetry Slam will be held in Balbriggan Library on Tuesday 26th April, 6.15 – 7.45pm. More soon
