Be part of Fingal Poetry Festival’s Poetry Slam Fri 16th September
Submit your poem or piece of spoken word for a chance to slam live at Fingal Poetry
Festival’s Grand Poetry Slam.
The event will take place in Skerries Mills Courtyard on Fri 16 September, from 7 pm, as part of the 2022 Fingal Poetry Festival.
12 poets will be chosen to join our monthly slam winners to participate at this event which will also feature music and performances by poets Emmett O’Brien and Sheila Ryder.
Submissions are invited from all poets who can travel to Skerries, Dublin to perform on
Friday 16th September 7-9pm.
Cash prizes will be awarded to 3 poets with the top prize being 100 euro.
Slam Poetry is performance art for poets with strength of heart whose voices cannot be silenced
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Submissions should be by audio (mp3), video (mp4) or in writing and be:
- The writer’s original work
- No longer than 3 minutes when performed
- Emailed to fingalpoetryslam@gmail.com with your name, number and contact email by 5pm Friday 12th August
Poets will be emailed and invited to participate in the poetry slam by Tuesday 23rd August.
