FinZine 2022

To celebrate Poetry Day Ireland (28 April 2022), we launched the first limited edition of “FinZine: Poems from Fingal and Further” on that day — you can see it here, or get your printed copy in libraries across Fingal.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

It is on the theme of ‘Written in the Stars’ to coincide with Poetry Day Ireland. The FinZine includes original artwork by Matthew Kelly as well as poems from Emily Dickinson, Bob Shakeshaft, Peadar Ó hUallaigh, John Keats, Máighréad Medbh, A.E. Houseman, Roisin Browne and Robert Frost.

There will also be copies available at our festival, and a second issue is in the making!

It has already been distributed to schools, reading groups, and the Irish Writers’ Museum … so keep an eye out for our cheeky raven on blue.

Míle buíochas to Poetry Ireland / Éigse Éireann, Fingal County Council, and Arts Council Ireland for their continued support.

Support for the 2022 festival by the Arts Council, Fingal County Council, Fingal Libraries, Foras na Gaeilge, RTÉ: Supporting The Arts, Leabhair Pháistí Éireann, Laureate na nÓg and Poetry Ireland is gratefully acknowledged.
The 2022 Fingal Poetry Prize was sponsored by DHL.
An Fiach Dubh, the Irish language poetry prize, was sponsored by Progressive Credit Union.
