The Fingal Poetry Festival 2022 is promising to be another exciting celebration of poetry and music, running from September 15th to 18th.
However, we are very happy to announce that we also have a number of events lined up to take place before the Festival weekend.
1) Calling all performance poets!
We are running POETRY SLAMS in the months leading up to the Festival. The winner of each Slam will get a chance to participate in the Fingal Poetry Slam during the Festival (16th September) in Skerries Mills Courtyard alongside national and international entrants and invited poets.
The first of these Poetry Slams will take place on March 30th in Rush Library from 6.15 to 7.45 pm.
Tickets are free but as spaces are limited, please book your place here for audience and poet.
In addition, poets need to register their name with Sheila on fingalpoetryslam [at] gmail.com

2) The 2022 Poetry Competitions
Entries to our two international poetry competitions (the Fingal Poetry Prize and An Fiach Dubh – the Irish Language Competition) will be open for entries from May 1st to June 30th. More closer to the time.
