Poetry Festival Treasure Hunt

A poem on a bench

Fingal Poetry Festival invites you on a poetry treasure hunt around Skerries:

WINDOWS ON WORDS – 15 poems in shop windows. Find them all and enjoy a few moments of calm as you allow the words to work their magic.

Some poems have also taken up residence on BENCHES around Skerries, inviting you to linger beside them.

Make sure to join us on our website www.poetryatskerriesmills.com from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September and beyond to:

  • Listen to readings by Michael J Whelan, Sheila Ryder, Susan Connolly, Máiríde Woods, Theo Dorgan, Jean O’Brien, Mary O’Donnell, Leeanne Quinn and Polina Cosgrave.
  • Participate in an Online Workshop with Enda Wyley (still a few tickets left; you can only book them until the end of August though!)
  • Find out who won the inaugural Fingal Poetry Prize and hear the winning entries

On September 20th (subject to Covid regulations), we are delighted to host Fishamble Theatre Company who are presenting MUSTARD, a multi-award winning play written and performed by Eva O’Connor and directed by Hildegard Ryan in the Little Theatre. Very limited tickets to ensure social distancing.
