As part of Fingal Poetry Festival, due to take place in Skerries from September 4th to 6th, we are delighted to announce the Fingal Poetry Prize, which will be adjudicated in its inaugural year by esteemed poet and writer Mary O’Donnell. Our generous sponsor for the award is DHL Ireland.
There will be a prize of EUR 500 for 1st place, with runners-up receiving EUR 300 and EUR 200. Five further short-listed poets will be invited to read their poems at the award ceremony with a reading fee of EUR100 each. Entries will be accepted from Friday, May 8th and will close at 5 pm on Tuesday, June 30th.
