Family fun for all the family with featured poet Lucinda Jacob and music by Lola Coady, creative art activities, games and open mic for children and young adults.
Léifidh Jane Landy as a leabhar nua do leanaí anseo. Local author Jane Landy will read from Claus Clamhsánaí, the new translation into Irish (by Gabriel Rosenstock) of her successful children’s book Gringer the Whinger.

Lucinda Jacob
Lucinda Jacob is an Irish writer who writes poetry and stories for children and facilitates creative writing workshops for all ages.
Her recent poetry book Hopscotch in the Sky, which takes children on a magical journey of poems through the seasons, was followed by Climate SOS! and Guzzler’s Party, story books with strong ecological themes.
Her newest book, I Am the Wind: Irish Poems for Children Everywhere, co- edited with award-winning writer Sarah Webb, will be out in October this year.

Lilia Wheeldon
Lilia Wheeldon, also known as ‘juliette nothing’ across all online streaming platforms, is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Skerries, Dublin. She has been writing and self-producing her own music in her bedroom for many years but began publishing her work online at the beginning of 2022. As well as singing, she plays acoustic and electric guitar as well as piano, ukulele and bass. Her genres include indie rock and folk and bedroom pop.

Jane Landy
Jane is a resident of Skerries and a mother of four grown up children. She brought them up with the help of a dragon, as her husband was often away. She would summon this dragon when things got tricky …
In 2017, she and illustrator Sheena Dempsey wrote a book about him called “Gringer the Whinger”.
In 2023, an Irish language version by poet Gabriel Rosenstock was published. Gringer now has a new identity: “Claus Clamhsánaí”.
Jane firmly believes that every family should have a dragon.
Tá cónaí ar Jane sna Sceirí agus tá ceathrar leanaí fásta aici. Thug sí suas iad le cabhair ó dragan mar bhíodh a fhear céile thar lear go minic. Thagadh an dragan go dtí teach Jane nuair a bhíodh rudaí ag éirí bun ós cionn …
I 2017, rinne sí féin agus an léarthóir Sheena Dempsey leabhar as. “Gringer the Whinger” an t-ainm a bhí air.
Rinne an file Gabriel Rosenstock an leagan Gaeilge, “Claus Clamhsánaí”, i 2023.
Síleann Jane gur chóir go mbeadh dragan ag gach clann.
