and Sun 18 September 2022, 3-3.45 pm - Age: 4-7 years. No unaccompanied children, please.
- Tickets (on Eventbrite or at the door): €6 each for a family’s first and second child (€5 unwaged / low income*), third and subsequent children and accompanying parents free.

Fiona Dowling will be in the Children’s Poetry Corner for two shows, with stories, riddles and songs for little ones, celebrating the power of imagination and our ability to be playful with words.

Fiona Dowling
Fiona Dowling is a French-Irish visual artist and storyteller living in the West of Ireland.
As a visual artist, she is working on her first autobiographical graphic novel “ Excuse My French”, telling the story of how she became a little French girl.
As a storyteller, Fiona has told extensively in schools and libraries at home and abroad. In 2016, she was a featured teller at Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival in West Cork and was Storyteller-in-Residence for Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. In 2019, Fiona was invited to tell at Vent de Paroles Storytelling Festival in Picardie, France and at Verbale! Storytelling Festival in Potsdam, Germany.
Fiona tells folktales from around the World to audiences of all ages. Her work is infused with humour and energy, and peppered with songs and home-made illustrations.
