Enjoy a bite to eat in an iconic Skerries pub while listening to poetry by Anne Tannam and Marcus Mac Conghail.Marcus may be accompanied by his son Naoise. Music by Lucy Killian.

Anne Tannam
Anne Tannam is the author of three poetry collections, ‘Take This Life’ (Wordonthestreet 2011), ‘Tides Shifting Across My Sitting Room Floor’ (Salmon Poetry 2017) and the latest ‘Twenty-six Letters of a new Alphabet’ also with Salmon Poetry, in 2021.
Anne’s work has been featured on national radio and press and forms part of UCD’s Irish Poetry Reading Archive.
Also a spoken word poet, Anne has performed at home and abroad at events such as Electric Picnic, Kosovo International Poetry Festival and Berlin’s Craw Festival.
Anne was writer-in residence is Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2016 and in 2020 was poet-in-residence for the Trim Poetry Festival. She is the current Writer-in-Residence for Poetry Ireland.
Anne works as a creative coach, supporting writers in Ireland and across the world to build and sustain flourishing writing practices.

Marcus agus Naoise Mac Conghail
Is file, scríbhneoir, ceoltóir agus craoltóir é Marcus Mac Conghail. Tá dhá chnuasach filíochta dá chuid foilsithe ag Coiscéim, Ceol Baile (Dánta agus Amhráin) 2014 agus Spásas, 2021. Bronnadh Duais Michael Hartnett air sa bhliain 2015. Ba bhall den bhanna ceoil IMLÉ é tráth. Anois is ball de SPÁSAS é.
Marcus Mac Conghail is a poet, writer, musician and broadcaster. Two volumes of his poetry have been published by Coiscéim, Ceol Baile (Dánta agus Amhráin) 2014 and Spásas, 2021. He was awarded the Michael Hartnett Award in 2015. He was a member of the band IMLÉ and is currently a member of SPÁSAS.
Is ceoltóir é Naoise Mac Conghail agus tá cumadóireacht ceoil go mór i measc a bhuanna. Is ball de SPÁSAS é.

SPÁSAS
Tá Naoise agus Marcus Mac Conghail tar éis seinnt le chéile ag féiltí éagsúla in Éirinn le cúig bliana anuas. Chomh maith le bheith ag cur cló nua ar sheana-amhráin, tá an comhoibriú seobunaithe ar Naoise ag cruthú fuaimrianta do dhánta Mharcuis. In 2021 d’eisíodar a gcéad rian & físeán, ‘What Happens When There is Nothing’ agus anuraidh d’eisíodar ’Ag Fágaint’.
Naoise and Marcus Mac Conghail have played together at various festivals in Ireland for the past five years. As well as putting a new shape on traditional songs, this co-operation is based on Naoise creating soundscapes for Marcus’s poems. In 2021 they released their first track & video, ‘What Happens When There is Nothing’ and last year they released ‘Ag Fágaint’.
Lucy Killian
Lucy is a singer and musician who plays Irish harp, piano, flute, tin whistle and guitar.
She plays a variety of different genres, focusing on classical, trad and folk.
Lucy teaches piano, tin whistle and harp, and is an accomplished performer, providing music at weddings and a wide range of public events.
