Ardgillan Poetry Walk 2024
Siúlóid Filíochta Tríd an Choill
Let’s close the festival in chilled, Sunday morning style with another firm favourite! Led by poet Damien B. Donnelly, we’ll meet at the Coffee Dock in the upper car park for a stroll through the high woods where, as well as that spectacular view, we’ll be treated to fine poetry from Damien and music by our wandering troubadour Mick Morris.
Críoch iontach é seo d’fhéile iontach. Siúl linn, éist le filíocht & ceol na n-éan i dteannta le filíocht & ceol ár n-aíonna.
Finishing up with poems in the Library of Ardgillan Castle by our final featured reader, poet Brian Kirk, with more music from Mick Morris, and an optional visit to the castle Gallery before leaving.
As always on our Poetry Walks, all participants are invited to bring a poem by themselves, or anyone they fancy, for sharing.
