We’re Going Biennial!

Fingal Poetry Festival is pleased to announce that beginning in 2025, our beloved celebration of poetry, music and community will shift from an annual to a biennial (every two years) event.
Since its inception five years ago, Fingal Poetry Festival has established a special place
in Ireland’s cultural calendar. It has hosted an array of distinguished poets, emerging voices, and musicians from across the island and internationally – in English, Irish, and Irish Sign Language.
The new biennial format is designed to enhance the sustainability of our volunteer-led festival and ensure the continued delivery of an inclusive, high-quality programme that reflects the vibrant literary culture of Fingal and beyond.
This year is our ‘gap’ year, so please mark September 2026 in your diaries for our next coming together. We’ll be back with exact dates nearer the time.
