Submit your poem or piece of spoken word for a chance to slam live at Fingal’s Poetry Festival. Cash prizes will be awarded to 3 poets with the top prize being 100 Euro. Submissions are invited from all poets who can travel to Skerries, Dublin and perform on Friday 4th September.
The Poetry Slam will take place at an outdoor Skerries venue on the first night of the festival. Twenty poets will be chosen to compete at this buzzy event which will also feature music and one of Ireland’s top performance poets (tbc). The judges will include the featured performance poet, a representative from the festival committee and a randomly selected person/persons from the audience.
Submissions should be in writing and be
1. The writer’s original work
2. No longer than 3 minutes when performed
3. Emailed to fingalpoetryslam@gmail.com by 5pm on Monday 10th August with your name, contact email and phone number.
